Today was no inordinately day. I went to school as always, stressing over a test, but still in a good mood. The only thing different about today was the fact that someone had made me cry [I think I get too emotional over little stuff].

It wasn’t until sixth period in which this happened. Theres this guy named Eric, whom I seem to see all over on campus, usually with his guitar or around the choir room, wandering around or playing the piano in the gymnasium.

The first time I had attempted talking to him had made me somewhat dislike him, whether it was his intention or his knowledge or not, was earlier in the year. I had seen him sitting outside my choir classroom playing the guitar. Probably the best I’ve heard. After the bell rang, and my classmates flooded out in all directions, eager to get home, I came up to him and said “Wow! You’re really good.” Either he didn’t hear me or ignored me, and I’m pretty sure that I had said it pretty loud. I have a small voice so eh maybe not. Anyways since he was unresponsive, I took it as a bit hostile and never attempted to talk to him again.

Just yesterday, he had been playing the piano in our choir class. He played a couple songs but the song that he played and singed last completely enthralled me. He played this beautiful song I had not been familiar with, and I took the courage to try to talk to him again after class. I had wanted the song name so I could look it up later online to listen to it To my surprise, he had written that song! The following day he came in and I requested him to play the song again, and before he began he told me a story of what had inspired him to write the song, and who it was for.

He told me it was a girl whom he had really loved, and she was everything beyond his dreams. One day she moved out of state and never said bye to him. So he wrote a sad song dedicated to her, without her ever knowing. When he told me the story, I really felt touched and I cried as he played the song. I felt super embarrassed for tearing up though. I really hope he didn’t notice haha.

This made me think to write my thoughts out on this. I always wonder though, what is in the perspective of an artist. Whether it may be an artist for music or for art in general, they do what they do in order to express themselves and to help stress pass by, or appease their appetite to share their talent. But do they ever feel the reward that they might have touched someone’s heart or inspire someone greatly? Have you ever heard of a song or seen a picture in which it sends a special meaning that perhaps makes you think or feel great emotion? Perhaps they do know and think that they have made some small difference in the world, but they won’t know each and every time they have made a lifetime impression on another person. Which I think is really important. I hope one day, he will find a way to reach out to the girl he loves and mentions in his song. ;]

Being sick is no fun at all. I’ve been sick for 1…2….3….4…FIVE DAYS! Almost a full week. Urg! I can’t even talk without spazzing in a frenzy of coughs. Especially with my choir solo try-outs this week. No fun at all…Wish me luck tomorrow ;]

Hmm, I watch a lot of dance videos on youtube and wow! Makes me wish I could dance. Trust me, YA don’t want to ever see me dance. I’m always so stiff and out of beat =/ I wish I was a naturally good dancer and I envy those who are. I CAN’T DANCE! Literally! Well comeon, EVERYONE says they can’t dance but thats a load of crap. I’ve seen those people who ‘can’t dance’ at the school dances. They all lie! Okay sure they aren’t professionals buuut they can do ‘noodle’ and stuffs. They can at least move the the beat! My body is stiff as a stick =/ I try dancing in front of my mirror all the time but to no avail. Yes I know embarrassing yes? I’m such a dork, dancing in front of my mirror when no one is around!! I want to take a hip hop class or SOMETHING just so I can bust a few moves but -sigh- I must me dreaming yes? Anyways take a look at these pros! They are doing my favorite Korean Band’s dance moves…and WOW perfectly too!

I can’t believe it snowed! Well not at my house, but about 10 minutes away from here!! Yes! Here in Temecula!! It snowed at my friend’s house and a ton of people had their car so frozen they couldn’t open it. One of my friends was telling me how she watched snow fall onto her palm trees. Snow on palm trees…I wish I was there…

Hum ho! I got a late xmas present from my friend Sammy! I haven’t seen her in ages =/ I miss her so much! She sewed a bunny from scratch and it took her 6 months to make <3 its so adorable~

Oh gosh and I just finished a speech in English class! A grand total of 9 minutes! Whoo! I’m so happy, now all I have to do is kick back and relax the rest of this week~I should volunteer early just to get things over with =D
